Peter Collins
Born in Egypt in 1950, my early years were spent moving around Europe to various army postings. I now live in Stroud, where there is plenty of inspiration for printmaking subjects in the surrounding countryside.
Having spent some years studying architecture, then working at Oxford and Kew Botanic Gardens, I was trained in Printmaking at the City and Guilds School of Art in London, specialising in Engraving and Etching.
I was taught Wood Engraving by Peter Reddick, at Bristol Polytechnic 1984-85. Elected Member of the Society of Wood Engravers 2018.
