Molly Lemon
Molly Lemon is a wood engraver based in Gloucestershire. Growing up in Devon she was inspired by the rural landscapes and ever-changing colours in nature. Molly enjoys creating colourful wood engravings using the reduction technique; Layering up the colours from the woodblock one by one until the image is complete.
Molly loves the challenge of engraving and printing en plein air. Often the British weather proves a challenge when working outside, with wind often scooping up the printed papers or rain cutting the printing session short. In 2025 Molly competed in the 10th season of Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year where she won her heat creating a 5 layer reduction print at Bristol Harbourside.
