The Society welcomes enthusiasts, collectors, as well as artists, and if you are a wood engraver, becoming a subscriber is the first step to becoming an elected member of SWE.

As a subscriber you will receive our printed quarterly journal “Multiples” - an illustrated publication with details of current and forthcoming exhibitions and books, exhibition reviews and articles about wood engraving.

You will also receive a monthly newsletter with up-to-date information on all SWE and other wood engraving exhibitions, projects and events.

Subscribers are welcome to the private views and to our social events, and are the first to hear about our new projects and publications.

You can also purchase our annual subscription as a gift for someone interested in wood engraving. On checkout, simply enter their name and address in the 'Delivery' field.

The subscription runs from January to January but you can join at any time during a year. If you are joining between January and end of July you’ll receive the current year’s back numbers and remaining issues. Those joining in August onwards will get the remaining issues for the current year AND all the following year.

At the end of each year you’ll receive a reminder email from the subscription secretary with the details on how to renew your subscription. Purchase of a subscription implies permission for subscriber details to be stored on the SWE database.
